Directions to Ricketts Mill

From A40

Take the A40 from the Carmarthen to St Clears for 3 miles and then turn right onto the B4298. After about 200 yards take another right turn signposted Meidrim. After half a mile, turn right to Merthyr. After 100 yards turn left to Abernant. Follow this road for about one and a half miles – you will come to a junction where you bear down the hill over a small hump backed bridge and we are 50 yards ahead on the left.

From Carmarthen Tourist Office

Almost opposite is Water Street . Follow this road through the traffic lights and drive for three miles the you see a public house on your right The Plough and Harrow , take the next turning on your left signposted Merthyr. Drive for another three miles (ignoring any more signs to Merthyr.) You will then come to a hump back bridge and we are 50 yards on the left.

From Meidrum

Go down the road by the side of the New Inn public house. Go for 800 yards then turn right onta a narrow road. Follow this road for three miles and we are the second property on the right hand side after a small hump bridge. (At the first house do not bear towards Abernant)

From the A485

If you are coming here direct – on approaching Carmarthen if on the A485 you will pass the West Wales Hospital on your left. Follow the town centre signs. When you reach the town centre look for the tourist office then follow the directions as above.
